Hey everyone. I purchased this boat a few weeks back and currently rebuilding it to be what I want. What I do know is it’s a 14ft aluminum deep v Starcraft. It doesn’t have an Id tag on it anywhere and also doesn’t have the coast guard tag on it. I paid $350 for the boat and trailer and it had one small leak. I’m just trying to figure out what it is and what size motor I can run on it. I have looked at the the Starcraft brochure thread too. Another site I posted on a guy said it looked like a 70’s runabout. Thanks for the help in advance

It doesn't look very large, I'd think about 25 hp.
Measure it, max beam and depth and check the catalogs.

I've got a 1966 Dart that looked like yours when I got it. I made it into a sweet fishing boat. Nice little boat. If that is a Dart, then someone has cut the front deck back on it to turn it into a utility type boat, because the bow looks completely different that the Dart did.

Thanks for all the replies. My boat looks identical to knezzer’s. I don’t plan on restoring it to what it once was. I’m making a fishing boat out of it. With a floor and the whole works. I planned on buying a 25hp Johnson off a friend of mine. But if I could find a better deal on a 30-35 I wouldn’t mine doing that too.
