Hi everyone, I'm a new boat owner and new to these forums. Be nice. 
<br /><br />Anyway, my brother and I recently acquired a boat from a local dealer. It's an older model boat, (pics below) and obviously used as a trade-in. It's in decent cosmetic condition, and runs great. The only problem is, we have no idea what type of boat it is! The product name on it (as far as we can tell) is "Phantom Boat Co." out of Athens, Texas. On the title it's listed as a '1973 Phantom Runabout' and came with a 1975 70 Johnson motor. We've done various internet searches on this boat, and turned up nothing. There is a company called Phantom that makes racing boats, but I don't think it's the same company. We're hoping to do a complete cosmetic overhaul on it sometime down the line, but it runs beautifully. The only problem is that we'd like to get some info, specs, or if we're really lucky, an owner's manual so that we can know this boat inside and out. The plate is located near the bow, but it's so worn and faded, it's almost just a silver plate with a few black flecks where something was printed, so THAT was no help.
