What degree thermostat?

I have a 1989 Force 150 I just bought I did alittle research online and I thought it called for a 130 degree when i pulled out the old one it is a 110 degree, So which one is it? Would it make a difference ?

Mercury calls out a 130 degree and do not offer a 110 degree for that model. Correct part number is [FONT=&quot]F664068[/FONT]
