What Bayliner Capri Model do I own?

Can some one tell me how I can find out the model of my 1988 Bayliner Capri? I have a hull number and I know it's 19'. There is no other information on the title or registration. I need to know as I want to order a made to order boat cover. Westland lists about 100 different Capri models. I see some numbers and letters in the hull id that also are in the model info, but nothing matches that well. Thanks!

There are only 3 basic Capri models in 19'..... a cuddy, closed bow and a bowrider.

Are you looking for a cover to leave on the boat while it is being towed on a trailer?

I would go with iboats and speak with a customer service rep for that personal touch.

360-435-5571. Just call that number with the HID #, and they will tell you. I have a 19 ft capri, and its a 1950CX bowrider.

no prob. if you ask them, they will send you a photocopy of the original owners manual for your model as well, free of charge. pretty cool, i think.

Hi,
I have a capri,1985.16 foot.
Not sure on model.
Is there a way to tell,as it's not on the registration.

Got a small walk through in the front.
Yes,looking also for a tight fit boat cover.

mick look on the back of the boat for the HID number. It should be stamped on the right side as you look at the back of the boat. Then call the number listed above and they will tell you exactly what you have.

Any up to this number? Itis no longer in service. Do you know the company's name so I can look up a new phone number. Trying to figure out the exact model of a 1988 Bayliner Capri 18 ft 7 in is on title. I'm guessing, they call it a 19-footer since I couldn't find any 18-ft models for that year.
