Mowed grass till 10 last night, came home and stayed up and went on our run at 3, got done at 7, layed down and woke back up so I figure everything else is a bonus.

A busy day for us. We are having a joint birthday lunch/party for my daughter and my youngest son, both June babies, Father's Day get together, all in in one. Naturally I have to cook, as usual. :rolleyes: <br /><br />Then tomorrow, the 19th., is my wife and my 35th. anniversary, a definite California milestone. :D <br /><br />It would be 42 years, if I was still with my first "legal entanglement" :eek: <br /><br />...Chef Bob-R-Dee...in Calif...

My son Joey and I are going as guests (in our own boat) to one of the bigger yacht clubs annual father’s day picnic. It's held at Sidney Island about 1/2 hour trip from port. We'll be there for a couple/few hours then just go waste gas for the rest of the afternoon. There's a few other friends of ours doing the same so I'm sure we'll end up floating around together somewhere. When we get home it's bbq time… I picked up some rib-eye steaks the other day that have been in a teriyaki marinade for 3 days now... big yum!<br />Hopefully this stinkin' weather holds...

Coat of Gluvit on in my aluminum boat project, cut the grass which was WAY overdue, installed my AC's in the windows.... going to relax and my son is taking us out to dinner later :D

Did chores for the wife for most of the morning. Went for 8 mile bike ride this afternoon. Wife is cooking up 8 lbs of chicken wings for my dad, myself and my son. Good eatin' in a little while. God is great!<br /><br />Dave

Wife and youngest daughter made breakfast for me, then off to church. Lunch at the Fire Station - Chicken BBQ. Then off to FIL's to wish him a Happy day (sure do miss my Pop!) and catch a little of the race. Then back to Church to take care of some things and get ready for the evening service. After service I will head home and plant some grass seed and fertilize that area of the yard, water the lawn, and hope we get rain tomorrow. Duty driver for the Fire Company this week, so hopefully we won't have any calls tonight and I can kick back after the lawn work.<br /><br />Was gonna hit the lake - but saw all the boats going by this morning and knew it would be too much of a zoo out there today.

Had most of the family here. Ate all sorts of wonderful food they brought and then shared a dram of Chivas Royal Salute 21 year old scotch.<br /><br />What could be a better fathers' day than having the love of your life, 4 middle aged children, 4 grandbuddies and assorted spouses all in the same place and having a grand time with one another?

My 10 year old and I went freshwater fishing. Did pretty good and will post pictures in the appropriate forum :D

Dodged a few raindrops here and went salmon fishing in DeTour, Mi.<br /><br />Got a 7 lb Atlantic Salmon.<br /><br />Heading ou west for a week in July to see family and the kids
