What are these parts for.....?

Hello Guys
I have a 1986 90 hp V4 Johnson and i reasently rebuild the carbs, i used a BPR kit
(part nr. 0439076) the rebuild went ok and the engine runs better now but not great. I'm still working on the idle issue, did a linc and sync today and i hope to get the idle perfect some day
The thing is that there was a lot og things left in the rebuild kit. Am i missing something or is it because the kit will go on other models and year???

You answered your own question.

The kits are for a wide variety of motors, so there are always parts included not pertinent to your particular model. Save them, you never know.

I'm probably wrong here, but...

The two clear/white pieces at the top look like throttle arm link retainers. They hold the control rod to the butterfly arm of the carb.
