Things are moving but seem to be at a slow pace. Last night and today they are doing some major changes in hopes to start to turn things around for the better. Last night he forums were in read only mode and I believe it will going back to read only in a few hours again but not positive about that. This may help

~~Just a quick heads up... Forums Maintenance Tonight/Tomorrow - 16-17 June 2014
Forums will be undergoing some more maintenance tonight and tomorrow.
The main purpose of this maintenance is to move the database to another server.
The plan...
Tonight: backup database. copy database over to other server and begin import.
Tomorrow: Transition forums over to use the new database.
We plan to put Forums into read only mode tonight and part of tomorrow for regular members.

We have been getting double postings and topics since the beginning. We have been trying to delete them as we find them. Stay patient.

Brings to mind the old adage of "if it ain't broke.............." was something wrong with the way it was?

Apparently there were security issues. The old version had some holes that could cause breaches, so the new version has them sorted.... I guess in this case what appeared to not be broken was breakable... And it's been fixed BEFORE it got broken...
