It started out in the middle of last week when a buddy invited my girls and I out to his farm to do some fishing. After making sure their Mom din't have any plans being Mother's Day and all, I asked her if it would be okay to take the girls fishing in the afternoon. Well, she says sure and I says "YES!" (in my mind) We got out to his place aliitle after 1:30 pm. Of course the girls had to meet Bandit, my buddy's new pup.
It was a day of firsts for all of us. Chandler Rose got her first fish ever (without assistance) What a kick!
Cassidy caught her a littler perch too.
After catching both of these, I told them to cast out a little farther from the bank. Check out Rosie's 2nd uassisted catch. When it took her bait, the drag went NUTS! She managed to get it in on her own, and when it got about 10 feet from the bank, it jumped, she screamed and nearly dropped her pole! LMAO!!! Shw wouldn't even get close to this beauty for a pic. Had to have sis hold it for her. Bless her heart.
