What a game!!!

Did anyone else just watch the Orange Bowl??<br /><br />Penn State 26 / Florida State 23 3OT<br /><br />3 missed FG in OT. Very hard fought defensive game. Over 4.5 hours long!!!<br />Penn State ran something like 85 plays. They scored two touchdowns on 3 plays really. The rest were just enough to move the ball. PSU fumbled on the 4 yard line.<br />Florida State had 26 yards rushing for the entire game!!<br /><br />Again,<br />What a game!!!!!!!<br /><br />AK Chappy

Ak, that was one heck of a game, I was rooting for FSU, but they just kept screwing up. It was a great game though!<br /><br />So what are the predictions for tonights game? Even though Texas is a big rivalry for Oklahoma, I am rooting for Texas!

Great,hard fought game! Hated to see it come down to missed FG's - both teams deserved a clean finish to a great game. However, I'm OK with a PSU win.<br /><br />Tonight it's USC all the way! Course would be nice if they would "let" Texas score once.

Between the game and following the news of the miners I am so exhausted this morning. <br /><br />I hope Joe Pa will realize that NOW is the right time to walk away.

You obviously know little about the bandylegged quarterback, who couldn't run and couldn't pass, just think and win. Paterno will resign when he feels he has nothing more to give the game. He has run what is probably the premeir Division I progam in the nation. He not only coaches football his players are students.

OMG! I understand a Technowhatever post and agree with it! Call the shrink! <br /><br />You are correct, Techno, JoePa will dictate his last moves, and no one else, and that is the way it should be! He has done more for Penn State than any 10 other individuals (and I am not talking the football program, but libraries and other support and endowments). He is a class act all the way, and still knows a little about football.<br /><br />This year you saw him be a little more "hands off" till it came to crunch time, and he did alright. So the time to walk is whenever HE wants to.<br /><br />GO PSU!<br /><br />Now, if Texas can knock off USC ... <br /><br />Whatever the outcome tonight, it is good to know the Big Ten Conference will have 2 teams in the top 4!
