I am currently emailing a guy about a 2005 22 ft Crownline for 4900$ on Craigslist, says the boat is in perfect condition. I can't wait to find out the catch.

Close, but no cigar. Craiglist is Tulsa, Alex Stam is @ military base in Great Falls MT, Going to Irac in 6 days, will ship on his nickel and payment can be thru paypal after inspection and test drive. ?????? Sure I'll play send the boat.

Oh that makes sense.... the guy seems like he is asking an "average" price based on all the others. You not bite the bullet and get over to western union....... you would not want to miss out on that white & red beauty!!

This particular scammer is a rookie.

Usually the price in one city is $4914, in another $4925, in another $4906, etc., so their hope, I suppose, is that you don't discover it via Google search on the full title.

Always Google the title of a suspected scam listing.

It's odd, but I note that some locals always have these scams (Delaware has lots), but right next door on Maryland Eastern Shore never has them.
