Hey guys. I just traded for a 95 Wet Jet 300. Tried to take it out twice. Both times it will start and run with no problems on dry land. As soon as I back it in the water, it will not start.. Period. I can pull it one foot out of the water and it will fire up again. I did manage to get it in the water while it was still running once today. The engine was extremely flooded and it smoked and ran badly for 30 seconds then took of and cleared out. It ran great for about 45 sec. When I let off the throttle, it died and would not start until I put it back on the trailer and out of the water. Same thing again, as soon as it is out of the water, it started right up. There is a strong smell of gas so I know it's flooded. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated..Thanks!!
