I fixed this little engine and it runs great, although I ran it at 50:1 ratio. Anyone know if that is the correct mix?

Dave

You have a 63 10,12 hp.fuel mix is 24:1.
I would not reccomend 50:1 unless you can get info from West Bend expert.
Specs:: 10,12 hp @4,000 rpm,17.71 cu. in.
points @ .020

Somehow posted before I was ready.
Plug is H8J(may be superceded) gap:.030.
Apparently 64 models are rated at 10 hp.
West Bend was purchased by Chrysler circa
1965.Eventually became Force.

Re: West Bend Shark?

Thanks so much for the info. I have only ran the motor for 5 minutes or so in a barrel with the 50:1 mix...hope I haven't damaged it.
