West Bend 2 1/2hp Shrimp

I recently purchased a West Bend Shrimp outboard. It has good compression, but that's all I've been able to check out since purchasing. Would someone be able to point me in the right direction to source a recoil starter to suit. There probably wouldn't be too many in Australia, but maybe there is someone on this forum that may know where I could makle some enquiries . . . jonmac

try ebay....Im on there every day looking at motors and parts and its flooded with them.

That funky starter was also used on Clinton lawn mower engines. However, there may be some modifications to adapt it to the particular motor.
