We bought some batteries for our boat back in august from a battery plus store.
Both batteries produce 980 CCA amps each. anyway the brand was Werker we could have got a set of trojan batteries but we had to special order them and they were really exspensive. Anyway these bateries are non maintinence and have a two year replacement warranty and three year service warranty. has anyone heard of these batteries are they any good.

Thanks, Dan

Re: Werker Batteries

Dan, i have not heard of them, are you having trouble with them. i'm having trouble with battery depot, on Ramona Blvd. trying to get them to replace a group27 Trojan, i bought last year, it has never held a charge, will only hold a charge for 3 days. and go dead on the water.

i take these are in the Formula. with it sitting as long as it did for repairs, it would not be usual for the to be weak, needing a though charge, and a long run down to the landing and back.

I left the shore power plug in the boat two nights ago and it charged up the batteries. My problem was that when we got the boat the boat back the switch wasn't in the off postion it was on battery I guess when I shut the switch off I didn't see that over shot the off positon anyways I ran the boat down the left bend in the ortega river early this mornong about 7:30.
