Went "boating" this weekend with the family in IL

We live in central IL and had a great time "boating" this weekend.

Just like we do in the summer, I put together the cooler with our picnic lunches and headed out to the boat in the garage. Climbed aboard and ate, just like we typically do while anchored. Afterward did a little fishing with some of those water expanding sponge fish then cleaned the boat all up.

We had fun and now the inside of the boat is scrubbed and all ready for the spring. Only thing left is tach installation and trailer bearing service.

Yes it is better to be safe then sorry. It wasn't that fact that you were anchored but that another boater could have come along and run into you. Always wear that PFD... :facepalm::laugh::laugh:

Hah! Daycruiser, I'd be lucky to get her in a sweatshirt withOUT a blanket this time of year.

Hey Keith which part of central Illinois do u live? I live 10 miles from lake Shelbyville...is that where you go boating? We go out on Shelbyville pretty much every weekend during boating season
