Wellcraft fisherman 18 fuel switch?

In the process of rewiring an 18 ft center console 1984 wellcraft 18 fisherman. Has a 1992 evinrude 115 oil injected outboard. There is a momentary toggle switch on the console labeled from the factory as "fuel".
Anybody own one of these boats or know what this switch is supposed to do? Wiring on this boat is so hacked up I can't tell. No on board electric pumps. Does have an aluminum on board tank.

I am going to move this to the Boat Topics forum for now, since it gets looked at by more people. Hopefully someone may know what it is, but never visit the electrical forum.

What color are the wires going to it? Have you traced the wires to see where they go?

I want to know what that switch is too......I have the same boat.
