Not as soon as I wanted, but pretty sure I am close, had about 10 days of fighting wires, dirty switches and shorts in the remote control, got all that sorted out.

Have to mount the seats in the morning, hook up the tach and the fish finder and should be able to shove off for a 3 hour tour on Saturday.

Fired the 50 hp up a few minutes ago and she sounds good for a 45 year old 2 stroke motor, water going in and water going out in all of the right places, ended up with a short the other night and lost the electric choke but Evinrude was smart and put a manual choke on this one as well.

I got lucky on this one, no rebuild needed to get her back on the water, I help the OP put the new floor in last summer, already had all of the fittings from other projects, so just bolted on this one.

New to me roller trailer under her with new rollers and such all adjusted to this boat, so it should be a good weekend.

I will be sure to take first splash for us pictures and post, just remember guys, no matter where you are at in the restores or refits, there is light at the end of the boating tunnel!

:joyous:
