I went and put my question on force and chrysler.......... wow what a mistake no one wanted to reply. so here it go's i have a 1 1/2 hp johnson . just want to know were to start with the adj on the carb low sidde how many turns out and high side how many turns out to start with????????????????????

What year engine are you working on, model number?
Normally the static setting for the low speed needle is 1 1/4 turn out from lightly seated. The high speed is 3/4 of a turn from lightly seated. Fine tuning will have to be done with the engine in the water.
