Ahh Winter Tin. Nothing better.

You have 24 hours to come forth with pictures.:D

I changed my mind 18 hours. You incur a penalty for antagonizing the mob. However there is a subgroup for the antagonizes, which you're pretty close to qualifying for if you keep this up.

Re: welcome another addition to the fleet

Yesterday was a very long day and I paid a little more than I wanted, however I beleive it's going to be worth it. I will post pics and start a resto thread at about 530. In the mean time.

1974 Starcraft SuperSport 16ss. UGLY as crap lime green. Paid 550 for hull and trailer only.

I was willing to pay it because the seller pulled the hubs and repacked the bearings beforehand. Also it's already gutted saving me a ton of time on demo and came with two sheets of new foam. Because this is a flip boat and I am going to be reselling it all costs and such will go in this thread while actuao work will be posted in another thread. The goal is bawic painted and ready to splash in 90 days

The plan is to use as much as possible from dono4 boat to save money.

So far 300 for donor boat 550 for supersport. Cash outlay budget of 800. Will resell a trailer which will offset transport cost. Hoping to resell the supersport for 2650 in 90 days whic will give a 1000 proffit

I thought it might have been the Atlanta boat. I've seen it too then

Good base to start from for a flip boat.

I do have the bow seat base, the other console, the aluminum pieces, for the stern doors (for lack of better words), the seller had all new flotation foam for it saving money from the budget. The plan is using the new seats from donor boat plus finding two more to match, build a casting deck in the bow to turn it into a fish and ski style boat to appeal to as many buyers as possible, and it can be done quickly and save money.

That's awesome! I'm always happy to help a fellow tin-head...even when I don't know I'm doing it :D

So now my buddies will think of me when they're looking for hull damage...and when they hear Journey playing on the radio

Re: welcome another addition to the fleet

thats ambitious, gonna be a cool project, I like the 16'er's.
But I don't think I could ever get one done in 90 days, unless it was just replacing carpets, and a buff and shine. Good luck, I'll certainly be following this one too.

Re: welcome another addition to the fleet

Yeah Ga I was already on the road and figured websurfing while driving was a bad idea. If we had been able to make thought id invite u to dinner.

Astor I am going to start an7other thread tomorrow for the rebuild. This one is just for discussing cost and such as far as a flip boat goes when I reference the rebuild thread I dont want a buyer to say well you only paid 550 for it why should I pay 2600

If I had to do a complete demo there is no way in the world 90 would be possible. It also helps I dont have to do a trailer rehab
