Today I took my boat & trailer into the local testing station for it's yearly warrant of fitness test (a thing we do in NZ).<br /><br />I asked the guy testing the trailer whether he could tell me the combined weight of the boat & trailer. He said he could easily, using that gadget on the floor that they use for testing the brakes (dynomometer...or something). I never knew those things can measure the weight of the vehicle as well as the braking strength...<br /><br />Anyway...the weight of my rig was 1,300kg = 2,800 pounds aprox. Very handy, but remember that doesn't include the (10%) weight on the towbar...<br /><br />It's a 19' f/glass cuddy cabin, 115hp Evinrude, full tank of gas as shown below;<br /><br />
