Weight of a Thundercraft Playmate V142

Hi all:

I would like to buy a boat lift for my 14 ft Thundercraft Playmate V142 (Fibreglass), but I can't find out what it weighs. It has a 40 Hp Evinrude outboard motor. Old boat, not sure what year, but in great shape.

Thanks if anyone tell me how much such a boat would weigh.

Take boat, trailer, and tow vehicle to nearest scale and get a combined weight. Launch boat. Take tow vehicle and trailer back to scale. Subtract this weight from your original weight = boat weight.

Lots of public CAT scales at major rest stops along the interstate. Could also find a local junkyard with a scale and repeat process there.
