Weight of a 1991 seaswirl classic cuddy????

I am trying to find out the weight of my 1991 seaswirl classic cuddy with a 150 Johnson outboard. I checked two different websites stating the weight..One says 2575 lbs and the other states 1850 lbs. Quite a bit of a difference.. Maybe I am reading something wrong? Could someone clarify this for me? I thank you......

Rather than reading stuff off the internet that has no idea how your boat is rigged/loaded/etc. after 22 years, why not get it weighed? Then you have the exact weight. Just an idea.

NADA website will give you the weight after you select your boat's options. I found an old online brochure from my boat manufacturer & the info was dead accurate. Hope this helps.

NADA website will give you the weight after you select your boat's options. I found an old online brochure from my boat manufacturer & the info was dead accurate. Hope this helps.

What was accurate? The NADA and brochure matched? Or putting it on the scale matched the others?

Well I did put it on a scale, it weighed 3060 Lbs. Obviuolsly more then 1875 and 2575, so with my motor which weighs 375 pounds and approx.. 15 gallons of gas in the tank I am closer to the 2575, so my question is what about the 1875 lbs listed? That is what concerns me, did water get into the boat? Can someone tell me what the correct weight should be? I know what the boat weighs, but is it the right weight?? Thanks again

1875 is most likely a bare hull. No motor and no trailer. 2575 might be typical weight with average motor/fuel/battery/trailer weights vs. your 3060. So where did the 500 lbs. come from? No other gear on the boat? Safety equipment, electronics, anchors, etc?

That's what I kinda thought about the weight. Would the higher weight be with the oil tank and gas tanks totally full? Its a 30 gallon tank. I probably had a hundred pounds of gear on the boat when weighing it. The reason I am concerned is the last time I took it out it seemed to sit lower in the water then the previous times. Again I thank you..

My hull comes as a CC or cuddy. Most sites address the weight as the same for both. Only 30 gallon fuel tank? My 17' cuddy has a 36 and 21' has a 90. 30 seems light.

Mine is a cabin cuddy. Went and checked the capacity of tank and it is stamped 33 gallons not 30. It usually takes about 120.00 to fill on a empty tank @ 4.00 a gallon.. So I assume the extra weight is something to be concerned about? Or am just being overly cautious? thanks...

The capacity plate states maximum number of people and more importantly maximum amount of weight. Stay under the max weight and you should fine.

Ok. So my boat weighs 2575 with motor, full tank of gas, batteries, oil tank full, and trailer? My capacity plate states 8 people or 1200 lbs. So is the trailer included in the 2575? or is it without trailer and I am good for 3775 lbs? Sorry to make this more complicated then it probably is. I just like to error on the side of caution... Rookie boater here..

Lots of numbers bouncing around here That 3060 weight - does that include the trailer?? If so, then that would explain the "missing" 500 lbs ??
