Has anybody got a good reference for loading a small boat. (16 foot RIB with 115HP) For instance where best to place an auxiliary fuel tank (forward or aft) and where to place passengers, gear etc.
As far as the fuel tank- I think finding a safe spot is the best spot.<br /><br />Gear and passengers-<br /><br />It varys every time you go out unless you take the same people and gear every time.<br /><br />You will want to seat the passengers according to weight.<br /><br />You dont want all the heavier people on the same side of the boat for example.<br /><br />I usually have the kids sit in the back until I plane out then they can move to the bow area if they want.
