Rebuilding carbs on 1994 150 V6 69 deg Looper, got one side done, pressured up w/ fuel bulb...
Noticed fuel weeping out of small brass insert (bb) located on bottom of the float bowl casing..is this normal?? Or perhaps a JB weld solution is in order....the brass piece is +/- 1/16" in diameter and located on the bottom left side of the casing (if facing the 3/8" brass bowl drain screw...btw, this is doing the same on one carb on the opposite side....
It appears to me that the brass piece (bb) is a plug used on the injection molded carb bottom??? (Channel in bottom up to upper carb half) Seems to me that this should be completely sealed and not allow fuel out...
