Colts kept on rolling, all the "analysts" that said the Colts have problems can finally shut up; Saints almost got stuck in the mud. Pats and Steelers lost AGAIN. I couldn't be happier. :D

A round for everybody on me, just put it on paulspaddle's Visa. :D

Re: Week 13

it is seeming more and more possible that we could have 2 undefeated teams opposing each other in the superbowl. i was really worried for the saints when i turned on the boob toob at the beginning of the second half and i saw that they were not leading by 10 points or more. glad they pulled it off though. wonder how much they paid the kicker washington to botch that field goal?????

I'm glad that the Saints won yesterday, but man, I can live without that level of drama!

I got lucky and was able to switch to a different FOX. I believe our cable has at least 2 different FOX channels... Gives us more game watching options.

My fox station switched too....man i was p'oed.

Something about they are only allowed to show 15 minutes of a game that wasn't originally on in your area. My local Fox station did the switcheroo too. Hpw were they to know it would end like it did?!

Manning is the best on the field coach and play caller period. But! Brees is comming along. both teams play with what it takes patience and execution (spelled wrong) they just don't give up or backoff. The Colts have a player drafted from Div, 3 Garcon he played for the best college team in the nation MOUNT UNION 13 national titles and countingwithin 20 yrs. this year they have outscored thier opponents by an average of 40 points or more.

Good game. Did you get to see the end? My fox station switched to
the NY/Dallas game.:(

Really sucks when they do that. Show the entire game or don't show the game at all, one or the other in my opinion.

Yup, I did. I was actually listening to the game on the radio in my car and made it to a pace where I could watch the last bit of regular play, plus the OT period, on the TV.

I actually feel bad for Washington, because they had the game and then gave it away.

That's true, but let's not go crazy. It's still D3, and 20 years ago, they would have let me play on their team! I know, because I asked! ;) Any college that would have let a 5'8" 150lb center, who ran the 40 in 5.1 play for them, is not in the same league as the SEC, Big Ten, Pac-10, etc...
That said, Garcon is awesome, and so is the rest of that football team.

Meanwhile, somehow my Stillers are still alive for the wildcard?!

Re: Week 13

I was flipping back and forth between the Lions game on Fox (yes I am a glutton for punishment ) and the Colts game on CBS. Colts' D looked great in that game.

That would be cool if it happens, if for no other reason than the '72 Dolphins wouldn't be able to break out the champagne anymore. :D
But that's not likely...once you've clinched your division and secured home field advantage, there's really no point to endanger your starters and play to win those last couple games, besides bragging rights. Takes an ego like Belichek's to go for all 16.

...and it took the 2007 NY Giants to provide the one big loss!;):D

man i loved watching the giants play as the underdog that particular post season. i'm not exactly a giants fan, but the first superbowl i ever watched was XXV when the giants were the underdog and beat the bills.

I couldn't agree more on loving NY Giant Superbowls (I went to Pheonix to see XLII), but unfortunately the first Superbowl I watched had the Chiefs facing the Pack (I think) in Superbowl I. I wish you (and me!) many more with the Giants!

Most of my lifetime. I was about six yrs old. It was very eventful for me because my Pop purchased our first television for the event. It was a Zenith I believe, and about the size of a Hyundai with a yellow glow of tubes from the holes in the bakelite rear cover. It gave off heat like a furnace so he placed it under the thermostat in the living room to fool us. After watching TV in the evening the house would be real cold when you went to bed, and I bet Pop made up for the cost of the TV in fuel savings!
