1st day of march and 95* here, 30* above normal.<br />I noticed the tops of weeds and grass in the bar-ditches were turning green. Amazing what 1.25" of rain will do in a few days. chance of rain in forcast next 3 days. If we get more I may just dance a little Irish jig. Ill post pix of course.

Buttercups are already blooming here,seen 2 hawks togeather and the sguirrels are going crazy.so spring has sprung here.

Saturday was down in the 30's. By Tuesday 80. <br />Been upper 70's Monday and Yesterday.<br />Wonder why everyone in town has been ill?<br /><br />Nights still drop down to low 40's high 30's.<br /><br />Can see the broken ground all over the yard where night crawlers have been pokin up. Should be good pickin this year.<br /><br />My mother was down Texas way over the weekend and said it rained most of the way on her. Wondered if you had any good from it.

Forcast is for a dusting to 1" of snow this evening and 20 miles south of us will be getting 12+ inches!!! What a differance a few miles means!!!

You northern boys been complaining all winter on lack of snow? what is that gona do to yalls lake levels this summer? Are you going to have to hold your get together in Cal. Wont do any good to come down here unless you can ski on rocks.

Cods, the last few years our spring rains tend to over fill the lakes. At least in my neck of the hills. My area is down about 34" this season. Just being annoyed by the many 1 to 3" snowfalls. For the last couple of days: White stuff everywhere, the next day it is all gone just to be replace the following day? Yo-Yo weather for sure. Just hope spring and summer aint that way.

Most of the USACE lakes around here are 4-10ft down from summer pool. We haven't got any rain or snow to fill them up. It gonna be a pain this spring at the boat ramp.
