I'm sure there is so much more to the story than is being told, but the PD can't speak about it until the investigation is completed. I was waiting for the mention of excessive alcohol comsumption...I knew it would be there. I used to see this all the time. Drunk people falling from their bicycles and smacking their heads because the reflex to protect yourself from the crash isn't there. I have a hard time believing that an average police officer would knock him from his bike and repeatedly hit or kick him into a coma. Although there are a few out there that live for the power that is given to the badge.
