My 1999 Honda Bf50 runs like a top ,although
lately i have noticed the flow from the telltale
is weak.
in the past i have used compressed air back thru
the pee hose while motor is running and it
clears and starts to pee strong, but after a
number of attempts, no luck getting that strong
stream going.
the motor is not hot to the touch, and the overheat alarm has not gone off.
my first thought was the impeller needs replacing
but since no overheating, does not seem likely.

What do you think ?

Re: weak flow/no overheat

Sometimes a clog gets into the hose between the motor fitting and the pee fitting and just kinda bounces back and forth in the hose. Remove the hose at the motor end and then blow into the pee fitting. If that doesn't help, have a look at the pump.
