Is there a good type of wax to put on a boat i tried turtle wax and it just streaks<br /><br />thanks jim

What we use on our boat that is really good, but a tad expensive, its Colonite wax. That is excellent. It has cleaner wax in it and then polish it on with a buffer and vualla!!!!! Its nice and clear and smooth. Thanks<br /><br />JAZZ ;)

did u use the paste or liquid? i tried the paste. good stuff but a lot of work getting it off once it glazes over.

If you have NU FINISH that comes in an orange plastic bottle, try it. It's cheap, likes fiberglass,plexiglass, and buffs up easily. It's not a wax persay, but outlasts any wax. :cool:

I found the best to be 3M Marine paste wax for large flat surfaces. Buy at Walmart. I use Colonite liguid on contours and harder to wax areas.
