Hi All, its that time of year again.. yahoo
I have been looking at all the care products on i-boats and was wondering what you would recomend for a long lasting wax for boat?

It seems i must wax everytime i take the boat out because it just feels to glide threw the water (love that feeling). Now there has got to be a wax that will last longer than just a good car wax. What does everyone use? I heard rain-x works good, dont know....guess im looking for a hard wax, something that will last, dont really want to spend all my time waxing. would much rather spend it boating, any help would be grateful...

Re: wax boat

Any boat polish is good. Some car waxes cloud-up on boats. Polishing the bottom actually slows the boat down, although I'm sure it's a fraction of a mph. Something to do with water sticking to a smooth surface. Rain-X only lasts a few weeks.
