Waverunner III - dies

My 92 wave runner starts and runs great......for abour 5 minutes.....then it dies (like it is starving for fuel), then after about 3 minutes, it will start up, run for about 3 minutes and repeat the cycle. Any one had this problem or know what it might be??????

you may have trash in your fuel tank and it is clogging up the pickup tube, when you turn it off the trash falls away and then gets sucked up again when it runs, pull the fuel tube from the tank and look inside the tank for water or other trash in the center of the tank

clean old fuel
run a seafoam treatment
then new plugs
