so i took the ol girl out last weekend, tossed a belt and blew a head gasket. Of course the one time I don’t bring my tools everything goes wrong.... anyways, got the old gasket off, put the new one on, flushed with cheap motor oil a couple Times and changed the filter. After the most recent flush, I let it run for a bit and checked the oil, it was white. I’m assuming that it’s most likely residual watery oil that I didn’t get out that’s the culprit but I thought I’d ask around for someone with more knowledge than myself. Please help!

Ayuh,..... If the oil level isn't rising on the dip stick,.... ya it's probably residual water,.....

If that's the case, run it at temp, 'n the water will steam out,.....
