waterpump / paint?

I going to order a new pump for a 2002 150hp johnson. The marina we keep it at says they servive it but they really only seem to work on io so I don't think it was ever replaced. I was only going to get the impeller and hoesing gasket or should i get the whole repair kit? Also the paint that can be ordered on the evinrude site does is it come in a spray can? I should get the primer,paint and clear right?

if you are in salt water the complete kit. spray can.

It's a virgen never once was in salt water so just the impeller is fine?

You wont really know until you get her apart and see the condition of the housing
