Can somebody please suggest a waterproofing product that is suitable for application on a 26 foot boat cover and cockpit covers etc. I believe the covers are a poly/cotton blend, or similar. I'm much more comfortable asking you folks rather than relying on marketing hype. Any application advice would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks
Kev.

Starbrite makes excellent marine products and has a waterproofer. I have never had a question about their products. We use it on our Sunbrella top and cover. G96 is also a great product and have used that on hunting clothing.

They make a shoe waterproofer that is a wax and comes in a toothpaste type of tube. I would use that over the silicone type. I would rub it into the fabric, then hit it with a hairdryer and warm up the area and let it melt into the fibers. I think it would last a little longer then the silicone stuff you just spray on.
