Water Tube Seal

First off, this forum is great. Last weekend I replaced the impeller on my alpha 1 gen 2 drive with the help of this site. I was feeling good as I did it properly with alignment pins and perfect seal (the aviation equivalent) on the lower gasket. However, I messed up a bit when reassembling the two halves of the drive by having the water tube attached to the guide instead of having the tube inserted into the upper half. This made it tricky to get everything lined up, but I ultimately got it done (or so I thought). The next day I realized I should I have inserted the tube into the upper half and let the guide tube do what it is designed to do, so I took everything apart again to inspect. I managed to slightly pinch the lower part of the water tube seal (26-88397) when assembling the halves incorrectly the first time. I inspected the seal and it looks fine so I reassembled the right way and was planning to call it done. BUT, I was thinking about replacing the water tube seal before filling with oil just in case it had some sort of hidden damage. Has anyone ever replaced this seal? Does it just pull out? I can't find a good picture of the seal to know what I am dealing with, but the seal is cheap. I am going to replace the bellows this winter--should I wait and deal with it then? Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I am guessing it just pulls out and I push the new one in. I have ordered the seal so I might was well go ahead and replace it.

I replaced the seal last night and popped in a new quad seal as well when I put the two halves back together. I can confirm the old one just pulls out. My water pipe definitely fit a bit tighter into the new seal so it is probably a good item to have changed. Thanks for the help.
