i thought they needed a longer rope at first but any longer and they might smack into the machine.

oh wow... I know what I'm doing next summer now! It just so happens we have a big CAT backhoe like that on tracks (plus a dozer and a few other heavy machines) at our farm..

And .... this summer, my dad and uncle married a diesel engine and a water pump, and a large empty steel propane tank together into a big water pump, to pump water from the lake, 700 metres up a hill to feed the cattle... in a large man made watering hole..

I'm gonna show them this - I guarantee there will be improvements to the watering hole by next year, and out summer party is gonna be a blast! LOL
