Water seperating fuel filter

Where can I purchase a water seperating filter and where does it install? Does it replace the factory installed filter. Also when doing a valve adjustment on a Honda 30 do you have to replace cover gasket.

you can get the housing and filter form west marine..it comes as a kit..i suggest that you do replace any gasket when it is removed..doing this will save you a headache out on the water..

You can get a filter from almost any marine shop.Put it between the tank & the fuel bulb & use it in addition to the factory fited filter.The more protection the better & the longer your engine will last/run well.Replace the gasket if it is damaged or if it leaks when you reassemble it but you should get away with removing & replacing the cover a couple of times.Hope this helps

Thanks for the info. I have picked up filter and gasket and will be installing next week end.
