I am in installing a water pump repair kit in a 2007 25 HP 2 stroke outboard.
Have already taken the lower unit out,no problem.Bought 2 new seals.
On the pump housing their is 1 water tube rubber seal were the tube goes in.But on boats.net and the yamaha outboard parts site it showes 2 seals ,1 on top of the other, part #6L2-44368-00-00 RUBBER,WATER SEAL.Does this seal just sit on top of the seal in pump housing or go inside part 6L2-44367-00-00 WATER SEAL?
When the unit was lowered I didn't see one I must have missed it.By the way I'm replacing these parts & installing pump kit.
