Replaced my impellar yesterday, the water tube came out with the lower unit, attached/ inside the water tube guide. I pushed the water tube back up into the head and installed the lower unit.
Looking at some diagrams, I did not see the water guide seal, Part#: 26-38970. I was going to take the lower unit off again to verify if it is there.
What does this part do, does it help keep the water tube tight to the head after screwing the lower unit back on?
I was wondeing what keeps that water tube tight to the head since it came out with the lower unit when I pulled it off and don't want it to drop down from the head.
