water pump question??????????

i have a NS40C on a 24 ft pontoon boat and when i hook up ears to run it i notice there is no water coming out of pee hole up top but it does come out around prop do i need a new water pump or impeller????

i would go for the water pump. or pull the lu and make sure the housing doesnt show any wear. if you get the whole kit, it includes everything for the water pump. actually the way to go for the first time, then do the impeller every year. cheap insurance,

Muffs may well not supply adequate volume of water to operate the telltale. You need the hose flowing well, and on FULL. Does the telltale stream properly when in the water?

If it has been 3 or more years since the wp was serviced, it is prudent to replace the wp kit.

Run a thin wire, plastic tie & wrap, W40, carb cleaner plastic canula up peeing hole several times, could have a clog there?
