merc 1 (888) replaced impellor, less than 3 hours, waterpump failure and high temps, pulled drive apart, impellor majorly melted, platic tube that goes over the water up tube from pump completely melted and saged big time...why??? what could be wrong or what did I do wrong?? replacing the whole thing this time base houseing impellor...how does the base come off?? didnt see anyway of it fastening on, didnt want to pop right off, and didnt want to pry too hard...advice?? thanx for the help.
