Water pump parts missing???

Yesterday I was attempting to replace my impeller on the port engine 95 130 yamaha 6L1 and I removed the lower unit and looking at the water pump housing I removed the 4 bolts,removed the plastic housing.there was a o ring on top of the silver impellar housing and a larger o ring on the housing itself.Now the question the book seems to have additional parts above the silver housing and plastic cover that I dont have.Are they missing or not needed or is the book error?The parts in question would go above the impelleer housing andup in the top part of the plastic cover A seal maybe.

I just did my 130 this past week and there was nothing more than what you described.Perhaps the book was showing the seals that are in the upper unit.<br />Ralph

Thanks a lot this board is great.I wanted to get one at a time done.I was going to take the other apart and compare but decided to make sure buy asking you guys
