hey all....i have a little issue...my woman (or me) seems to have misplaced my shop manual on the boat motor...i need to change the impeller as it is not moving water and overheating...so if anyone has any quick instructs or pdf of the manual that would be awesome. if not...i suppose i will have to go buy one.

thanks in advance.

Shift rod needs to be disconnected. BTW, BRP pump kits usually have instructions packed with them.

You'll need to disconnect the shift linkage. On mine (1961 18hp) there is a small access to it on the side of the leg. Inside I remove the lower bolt (remove!) and the leg will drop off.. be aware of that.

Other models may have the linkage under the power head, but that's probably what you need.
