Water Pump Kit Help

I've got a (not sure of year but I've got the serial #).....btw, I'm not a big boat-smarts guy, but anyway..........175HP Blackmax Outboard V6 motor and it needs a water pump kit replacement. Can I get the kit from this site, or would it best to get it from a Mercury dealer? Also, I want to make 100% sure it fits my motor. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
