water pump impellor which direction?

hi guys,<br /> fitting a new pump impellor but it doesn't say in the manual whether the blades should drag or face the direction of engine rotation. by the way it's a mariner 28. i can't tell from the previous imprint as there were blades facing all directions! grateful for any help.

Turn the prop while pushing the housing down over the impeller and it will self install in the correct direction.
