I wanted to check my impeller while I had the lower unit off. It looks pretty good to me, but wanted to check with someone before I put it back. Does this impeller look good to you? Also after how many years/hours should you replace a impeller? Also when should you replace all the water pump compoents? thank you

Most folks would just plan to replace the impeller if going to the effort to inspect it....Your impeller looks usable from the photos but I'd get a new one to put on just to be sure.....

I believe Yamaha recommends to inspect every year and replace at 3 years if you have not done that already due to problems seen during the inspections in prier years

buy and use the pump kits.
housing needs to be replaced if any signs of melting or other damage is seen
