I haven't run boat since last summer. Had carburators rebuilt. Took out this past Saturday. I let motor warm up and then headed down the lake. Everything was running fine and then I lost water through P hole - just steam coming out. Slowed down, shut off engine. Blew through hole. Restarted engine but still low pressure and steam coming out. Is this due to water pump? or clog? Or should I just rebuild the whole system? I am mechanically inclined. Is this simple or should I have a mechanic perform the repairs? Is it expensive?
