Water Pump for Yamaha l4 3.0L I/O

I am looking for a sea water pump for my 1993 Yamaha 4 cylinder 3 liter inboard Outboard motor. I am am having no luck finding this part. Any suggestions?

Guess you're still running Bart? Let me check when I get in the shop tomorrow. I checked for a guy a couple of weeks ago about one of those and Yamaha had one in stock but the guy suffered a heart attack when I gave him the price and didn't call me back. That pump is a Yamaha only pump and can't be found anywhere else.

Yes Ken mine is running like a champ.I keep the preventive maintenance up to snuff.<br /><br />I seem to remember that the pump is $700 to $800.<br /><br />Hope I never need one!!!!!!!!!!<br /><br />>>>>>>>HAPPY BOATING<<<<<<<

Not that bad, just $467 plus freight. Ain't one currently in the country but can get it direct from Japan. Just how long that tramp steamer takes to get here, no one knows.

I am having a heart attack over that price. Do you know if the pump can be rebuilt? If I decide to get the new pump, how do I order it?<br /><br />Jeff

Do you need the impeller or the whole water pump?
(I have the L4 3.0 GM engine also, 1993 Yamaha.)
Mine went out last summer and I had to replace the $25 rubber impeller.
Goes in easy when you take the pump off.

I kinda think that these guys found their waterpump parts,...
Or,...
Possibly just Junked the Yamaha by Now,......
