Water Pump for 1965 Mercruiser

I have a 1965 Aristrocraft with 120 2.5 Mercruiser I/O engine and I have water spraying in the front part of the engine. Near the belt. I think that it is the water pump. Any suggestions on how to change it? or things I should look for?

until you know for sure, it could be a core plug or a cracked block.Only you can determine that.

Guess I need a bit more info because it sounds simple, just replace the water pump or find out where it is spraying. Got any pics?
