I have a 2000 Mercruiser 5.7litre MPI MAG 300HP.<br />I replaced the impeller today & i'm sure I have the hoses on the waterpump attached correctly but I would just like to be sure. <br />There is one soft rubber hose & one much harder. The softer hose is attached to the top most connection on the pump & the harder hose is connected to the bottom fitting on the pump.
